I. All poems and artwork must be created on a sidewalk, using only board chalk as a medium. Using a water spray bottle is allowed.

II. The contest of Fleurs de macadam is open to all people. Students that are not registered with their school may participate after school hours. All participants will be judged in the adult category (poetry or art).

III. Artworks or poems must be completed by 6 p.m. the day of the event.

IV. All participants must hand in a sketch of their drawing or poem to the organizing committee, either when registering or on the morning of the event. In case of rain, these sketches will be used instead of the sidewalk drawing. If it does rain and a sketch is not provided, the drawing will not be eligible for the contest.

V. Fleurs de macadam will not be held responsible for damaged or lost sketches and poems entered into the contest.

VI. Winners agree to the use of their name and/or photograph, their drawing or poem without compensation, in any subsequent publicity, advertising or web site.

VII. Winners will be notified by phone or by mail.

VIII. You may register in advance by phone, fax or on our web site. We accept inscriptions on site, the morning of the event.
